Applications are now open for the Getty Foundation’s 2026–2027 Pre- and Postdoctoral Fellowships, designed to support innovative research related to the annual theme of the Getty Scholars Program.

Who Can Apply
Predoctoral Fellowship:

- Open to applicants who earned their doctorate between September 1, 2021, and the present.
Getty Scholar Grant:
- Applicants who received their PhD before September 1, 2021 should apply under this category.
Reapplication Policy:
- Previous Getty residential grant recipients may reapply after six years, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements for their chosen category.
